Where do I buy the watercolor tools listed on this page?

I have purchased supplies from both Opus Framing and Artworld located in Victoria, BC. Both stores have provided me with quality product, good customer service and excellent mail order services.

Here are some of the tools I use in my watercolor work:

Paint

I use Windsor Newton Artist Watercolor, Van Gogh, Da'Vinci and Daniel Smith (Italian Deep Ochre, Monte Amiata Burnt Sienna and Pompeii Red). I usually buy the tubes in the 15 ml size and 37 ml size. Of course I also own dozens of the 8ml tubes. I also use the gouache ( White, Ultramarine, Raw Sienna in the 14 ml size).

Palette

Here are some of the colors I currently paint with (using a Robert Wood palette):

• Raw Sienna, Burnt Sienna, Burnt Umber ( earth tones)
• French Ultramarine Blue, Cobalt Blue, Pthalo Blue (green shade)
• Hookers Dark Green, Pthalo Green ( blue shade), Viridian Green, Sap Green
• Cadmium Red, Rose Madder, Alizarin Crimson, Quinacridone Rose
• Cadmium Yellow, Lemon Yellow, Aureolin, Yellow Ochre, Quinacridone Gold
• Occassional Colors - Paynes Gray, Sepia, and Violet
